The World Holocaust Remembrance Center launches free course on Antisemitism

St. Paul School of Nursin

Antisemitism: From Its Origins to the Present is a free online sociology course offered by Yad Vashem – The World Holocaust Remembrance Center in Israel.

The course is ideal for anyone who is looking to better understand antisemitism’s causes and effects.

During the course, students will have a chance to learn from 50 scholars who have devoted their careers to researching antisemitism.

Some of the questions that the class seeks to answer are What is antisemitism? How has it changed throughout history? Why can it be found among so many diverse cultures and even among opposing ideologies? What happened to antisemitism after the Holocaust? How is antisemitism expressed today? What are the main spheres in which it can be found?

Students should expect to devote about three to four hours of study time to the course weekly.
