Foundations of Development Policy is part of the new MITx MicroMasters program in Data, Economics, and Development Policy (DEDP) that focuses on the various aspects of human development. It addresses all questions related to education, gender, health, the family, land relations, formal and informal norms, risk, public policy, as well institutions and how they factor into realities obtainable in developing countries and poor households. Through the use of data collection and analysis, it seeks to highlight the many policy interventions that have been made to tackle the subject matter. It is offered by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology via EdX for free and lasts 11 weeks.
