This unique program through GLOBED and the University of Oslo offers students the chance to study in Barcelona, Oslo or Amsterdam and Malta. This degree takes an interdisciplinary approach to international development, especially regarding education policy. The first semester in Barcelona will teach students about global education policies, theories of social justice in education, and research methods and techniques. For the second semester, students will choose a track and study in either Oslo or Amsterdam. The Oslo track discusses education reform and higher education in Europe. The Amsterdam track focuses on politics of education development, children’s rights and comparative perspectives on education, and the GLOBED summer school in Malta. The University of Malta gives the chance for students to study project development and develop their thesis proposal. The third semester consists of internships and fieldwork to prepare them for their theses and provide professional development. The final semester is for students to complete and present their theses.

This is a 24-month, full-time, on-campus program is free for both national and international students. Students must be fluent in English and must have a minimum “C” grade average. Students with any Bachelor’s degree are eligible but degrees in related fields are highly valued.

This program boasts an interdisciplinary approach to community health research and practice in the setting of an international classroom. Students participate in theoretical and methodological courses during their first semester, and combine similar courses with writing research protocol and medical ethics for their second semester. In the third semester, students collect data and participate in field work. Finally, the fourth semester consists of analyzing the data and writing the thesis, in addition to some mandatory lectures. Master’s in Global Development Theory and Practice, University of Bergen

The University of Bergen’s Master in Global Development Theory and Practice will give students an in-depth understanding of various global development processes and sustainable human development. M,A. in Sustainable Development Management, Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences

This master’s program uses an interdisciplinary approach to sustainable development through economics, politics, and project management and provides training in the skills necessary to successfully design, implement, and evaluates development projects. This program is divided into three semesters. The first two are for students to take courses on economic and political science approaches to sustainable development and its methods. Students will also study international law, as well as project management and evaluation. During this time, students can also take elective courses. The third semester is when students develop and complete their thesis, which can be done through field work and research.

This is a free, full-time, on-campus program that lasts for 18 months. However, students will need to pay various school fees, including the cost of the Semester Ticket, which is the pass for public transportation. These fees total €278.38. In qualify for this program, applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and fluency in English language.

This program will prepare students for careers in a wide range of private and public institutions, including governments, central banks, education, multilateral development organizations, non-governmental organizations, consulting, investment banking, and PhDs.

This program will provide students with a comprehensive understanding of global social, economic, and environmental change to be able to promote sustainable local development.
