If you are concerned about climate change and would like to know how you can take action, this course is for you. This course will explore various types of political action and protest to create change. You will assess how you can have an impact in your community, society or globally and explore strategies to effectively address the climate crises.

Building on the evidence of environmental science, you will learn what we need to do now to mitigate the impact of climate change on people and the planet.

While this course is self-paced with flexible deadlines, it is recommended that you take the course over a period of seven weeks and dedicate 2-4 hours per week to study. The course is free to audit but you may want to opt-in for a verified certificate issued by University of Michigan for an extra fee.
